discvr10 — Magazine Identity System
Role: Product Designer (Sole Designer)
Tools: Adobe : illustrator / XD
Project Type: Conceptual App Design
Duration: ~ 2 Month
Overview
discvr10 is a conceptual magazine brand focused on spotlighting 10 influential creatives, thinkers, or cultural shifts per issue. The identity system had to be bold, modular, and instantly recognizable—reflecting the idea of discovery through a structured lens.
This project was an exploration in scalable identity design, where a logo system could flex across print, digital, and motion environments without losing consistency.
Challenge
Create a full identity system that captures:
Discovery and curation
A numeric motif (10 topics per issue)
Modern, editorial clarity
Goals
Develop a scalable logo system
Build a secondary visual language (patterns, icons, layout rules)
Present clear brand rules in a concise identity manual

Reflection
discvr10 challenged me to design an identity system that could flex across multiple touchpoints without losing its core personality. It was an exercise in clarity, modularity, and restraint—focusing less on decoration and more on scalable structure. I explored how typography, repetition, and color could work together to form a recognizable editorial brand.
If I were to expand the project further, I’d build out physical applications like covers and spreads, explore motion behavior for the tile system, and extend the visual language into social media templates.
